Pay per click Programs

Pay per click (PPC) (also called cost per click) is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. It is defined simply as “the amount spent to get an advertisement clicked.”
With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. PPC "display" advertisements, also known as "banner" ads, are shown on web sites or search engine results with related content that have agreed to show ads.
In contrast to the generalized portal, which seeks to drive a high volume of traffic to one site, PPC implements the so-called affiliate model, which provides purchase opportunities wherever people may be surfing. It does this by offering financial incentives (in the form of a percentage of revenue) to affiliated partner sites. The affiliates provide purchase-point click-through to the merchant. It is a pay-for-performance model: If an affiliate does not generate sales, it represents no cost to the merchant. Variations include banner exchange, pay-per-click, and revenue sharing programs.
Websites that utilize PPC ads will display an advertisement when a keyword query matches an advertiser's keyword list, or when a content site displays relevant content. Such advertisements are called sponsored links or sponsored ads, and appear adjacent to, above, or beneath organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a web developer chooses on a content site.
The PPC advertising model is open to abuse through click fraud, although Google and others have implemented automated systems to guard against abusive clicks by competitors or corrupt web developers.

How much will I earn with AdSense?

There's no precise answer, because your earnings will depend on a number of factors.

  • The type of ads appearing on your pages: By displaying ads with AdSense for content, you can display ads that are paid when users click them or when users view them. All ads compete in an ad auction, and our system automatically picks the advertisers who are willing to pay the most while ensuring a good user experience.
  • The pricing of ads appearing on your pages: Not all ads are priced the same, so factors such as changing advertiser budgets, your specific content, and the ads your users choose to click will cause your earnings to vary even from day to day.
  • How many AdSense products you use: You can earn from AdSense in many different ways -- by displaying ads on your webpages, by providing search to your users, and more. Using more AdSense products will increase your potential earnings.

The best way to find out how much you'll earn is to sign up and start showing ads on your webpages. There's no cost, no obligation, and getting started is quick and easy. Sign up now.

Once you're a part of Google AdSense, you can see your earnings at any time by signing in and viewing your reports. You'll be able to see the total number of ad clicks, impressions, clickthrough rate, and your total earnings. This information will give you an idea of how well the program is performing for you and how much you can expect to earn over time in the program.

What is AdSense ? Mostly Used Adsense Tools

According to WikiPedia

Google AdSense is a program run by Google that allows publishers in the Google Network of content sites
to serve automatic text, image, video, or interactive media advertisements that are targeted to site content and audience. These advertisements are administered, sorted, and maintained by Google, and they can generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis. Google beta-tested a cost-per-action service, but discontinued it in October 2008 in favor of a DoubleClick offering (also owned by Google).[2] In Q1 2011, Google earned US $2.43 billion ($9.71 billion annualized), or 28% of total revenue, through Google AdSense.

Types of Adsense

1. AdSense for Content
The content-based adverts can be targeted for interest or context. The targeting can be CPC (click) or CPM (impression) based. There's no significant difference between CPC and CPM earnings, however CPC ads are more common. There are various ad sizes for available for content ads. The ads can be simple text, image, animated image, flash, video, or rich media ads. At most ad sizes, users can change whether to show both text and multimedia ads or just one of them. As of November 2012, a grey arrow appears beneath AdSense text ads for easier identification.

2. AdSense for Feeds
In May 2005, Google announced a limited-participation beta version of AdSense for Feeds, a version of AdSense that runs on RSS and Atom feeds that have more than 100 active subscribers. According to the Official Google Blog, "advertisers have their ads placed in the most appropriate feed articles; publishers are paid for their original content; readers see relevant advertising—and in the long run, more quality feeds to choose from."
AdSense for Feeds works by inserting images into a feed. When the image is displayed by a RSS reader or Web browser, Google writes the advertising content into the image that it returns. The advertisement content is chosen based on the content of the feed surrounding the image. When the user clicks the image, he or she is redirected to the advertiser's website in the same way as regular AdSense advertisements.
AdSense for Feeds remained in its beta state until August 15, 2008, when it became available to all AdSense users.

3. AdSense for search
A companion to the regular AdSense program, AdSense for search, allows website owners to place Google Custom Search boxes on their websites. When a user searches the Internet or the website with the search box, Google shares 51% of the advertising revenue it makes from those searches with the website owner.[5] However the publisher is paid only if the advertisements on the page are clicked; AdSense does not pay publishers for regular searches. Web publishers have reported that they also pay a range from $5.67 to $18.42 per click.

4. AdSense for mobile content
AdSense for mobile content allows publishers to generate earnings from their mobile websites using targeted Google advertisements. Just like AdSense for content, Google matches advertisements to the content of a website — in this case, a mobile website. Instead of traditional JavaScript code, technologies such as PHP, ASP and others are used.

5. AdSense for domains
AdSense for domains allows advertisements to be placed on domain names that have not been developed. This offers domain name owners a way to monetize domain names that are otherwise dormant or not in use. AdSense for domains is currently being offered to all AdSense publishers, but it wasn't always available to all.
On December 12, 2008, TechCrunch reported that AdSense for Domains is available for all US publishers.
On February 22, 2012, Google announced that it was shutting down its Hosted AdSense for Domains program.

6. AdSense for video
AdSense for video allows publishers with video content to generate revenue using ad placements from Google's extensive advertising network including popular YouTube videos.

Popular Post Gadget Configuration: Configure Widget As you like

Today, talking with my brother he asked me to configure popular post gadget as follows:
Remove Thumblians,

And Remove the Space Between The titles.

I Was confused how to do this, first two things can be done easily by configuring the gadget, for this I go to ->Blogger -> Layout ->Add a Gadget ->And I Remove the ticks from "Show Thumblians" and "Show Spinset" It worked. But not completely, of course, there is still a problem, that is the  space between titles was too many  so I've to do some task which is as below :
I go to ->Blogger -> Template  ->   Edit HTML  ->  Proceed  -> Tick on Expand Widget Templates -> search for "popularposts1" and i found Following code :
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<b:widget id='PopularPosts1' locked='false' title='Popular Articles' type='PopularPosts'>
<b:includable id='main'>
  <b:if cond='data:title'><h2><data:title/></h2></b:if>
  <div class='widget-content popular-posts'>

      <b:loop values='data:posts' var='post'>
      <li>
        <b:if cond='data:showThumbnails == &quot;false&quot;'>
          <b:if cond='data:showSnippets == &quot;false&quot;'>
            <!-- (1) No snippet/thumbnail -->

Custom Domain Hosting in Blogger

As we feel www.YourBlog.blogspot.com is a quite long name, we just like to shortening the URL By setting up custom domain. The process of adding custom domain to blogger is not too harder and we can do this in a-few steps: (if you buy domain with blogger, Steps are not needed )

  1. Find the control panel on your domain registrar’s website, and locate your DNS (Domain Name System) settings. In order to link your blog to your custom domain, follow the instructions below to enter your "CNAME" and "A-records."
    CNAME
    Where it says Name, simply enter "www" and list ghs.google.com as the Host Name. See our detailed instructions on providing CNAMEs for various registrars. If yours isn't listed, or if you run into other difficulties, contact your registrar directly and they can help you out.
    A-records (optional)
    The following action links your naked domain (example.com) to your actual site (www.example.com). If you skip this step, visitors who leave off the "www" will see an error page.
    Enter your domain name in the format example.com, and list the I.P. addresses shown below in the "A" section. You'll need to create four separate A-records which point to four different Google IPs.
    216.239.32.21
    216.239.34.21
    216.239.36.21
    216.239.38.21
  2. Update your Blogger settings
    Before you move onto this step, wait about an hour for your DNS settings to activate. If you attempt to change the publishing settings before the DNS changes activate, then we'll let you know with a warning message.
    Now it’s time to make sure Blogger knows about your custom domain so that Google can direct readers to your blog. Just head back to Blogger and update the information on your Settings | Basic tab. Find the area for "Publishing," and click the link to add a custom domain.
    Add a custom domain
    Then, click on "Switch to advanced settings."
    Advanced Settings
    Enter in the URL for your custom domain in the text box provided, and click Save. That’s it! Your blogspot.com address will soon redirect to your new custom domain -- be patient, as it might take up to 24 hours for the redirect to start working.
    Enter URL and save
    Congratulations, you’re all set!

If your domain is not set up in first time, google provides some verification code, That must be added in the cname record of the domain control panel.

Getting Visitors to Post

This is another most important task to get more visitors to our blog posts. This sometimes seems to be very difficult. But it is not too difficult. First of all we should find out some sources of visitors. Then only we'll be able to get more visitors as well as quality traffic.
For major sites,  in this days, source of visitors are social networking sites, Search engine, Paid up ads, and banner exchange.
1! Social Networking Sites: Many Social Network sites offer business page, where we can build a page for our site and with the help of this page we can redirect social networking site (e.g. Facebook.com, Plus.google.com, Twitter.com and so on) to our page. For this we should sign up for these sites, make business pages and build likes, followers to this pages. many tricks to get more likes and followers will be discussed later..)
2! Search Engine Visitors : Search engine visitors are major source of free visitors to many big sites. For new and small size pages, search engine visitors may be of small amount. But there is a tool which is called SEO or search engine optimization, which help us to get more visitors to our site. and this tool also help to make good page rank for of our blog.
3! Banner Exchange : Banner Exchange is commonly used tool among small bloggers. In this technique we find other blogs and sites and exchange our banners. For this we should make our banner. The easiest way to make banner is that: we make a picture of desired size, 300X90 may be most appropriate size. And linking this picture with our blog.
4! Paid Up Ads :  Paid up ads are ads that the deals make with many sites which are popular. And we also can advertise on many ad networks like google adwords and facebook too..
5! Web Signeture and E-mail marketing : While you go to many forums, blogs, and sites, there is provided a space for adding a website either as signature or as web itself, So visiting many sites and commenting and replying in this sites, we can add our site to them. And we can do emali to many e-mail address. But this may be difficult and returns may be lower...

Parsing Html Code :Introduction and Process

While editing blogger template, we can add some HTML codes too. But direct html code may not work because our template is in XML format. So we have to change our html code. We can do it manually: for eg < cand be changed to &lt; and /> to  /&gt; but doing this is vary difficult and unnecessary because we can so this in simple two steps.

Either you can search "Parse HTML Code" in google and find the site which parse your html code.
Or You can follow this link "Parse HTML Code" and get your new code which can be used in blogger.
